Shipping
All orders in the U.S $40.00 or more will receive FREE shipping.
Avalon Beads uses UPS and the U.S Postal Service to ship orders to the United States. Orders in the continental U.S $39.99 or less will be billed a flat rate of $4.95 shipping and handling.
Avalon Beads also ships to all APO/FPO military addresses and major offshore territories and protectorates.
Orders placed Monday through Friday will ship in 24 hours of cleared payment. All orders placed Saturday through Sunday will ship by noon on that following Monday. Packages are shipped 1st class and Priority, with estimated 2-5 day delivery.
International shipments are via US Postal Service Global Priority or 1st Class Air. Please note that while estimated delivery dates are 5-10 days, some packages take 3-5 weeks due to customs and the international climate. Shipping charges will be the standard rates applied by UPS or USPS, whichever is less.
All packages will receive email notification of shipping.
Ordering Options
Order Online: It is the easiest way to order from us. All you have to do is pick what you like and pay for them!!
Order by Phone: If you wish to purchase via phone or have any questions about ordering online or any of our products call (831) 443-8284.
Order by Fax: Please download and print the faxable order form from our website and fax your order to (831) 443-8284. If you are unable to print out an order form, please include full product name, inventory number and quantity along with your contact info, phone number and email. Once we receive the order, we will call to confirm the order and ask for billing information over the phone. When the order is shipped out a tracking number will be emailed to the emailed address provided in the fax.

Make check payable to Avalon Beads. Download and print the order form from our website and mail in your order. If you are unable to print out an order form, please include full product name, inventory number and quantity along with your contact info, phone number and email. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing Disclosure
Avalon Beads collects personal information when you register and when you place an order. The personal information includes your name, address, email address, and phone numbers. We use this information in order to serve you, process your orders and ensure proper communication with you. Avalon Beads dose not rent, sell, or share your information about you with any third parties. All information collected is through our secure website which crypts the data you submit. All information is collected confidentiality and securely.
Cancellation of orders
Orders can be cancelled if it hasn’t been sent out yet. For orders that have already been sent out, please go through the Return Procedures.
Returns & Exchanges
We at Avalon Beads stand behind every product we offer. If you’re unsatisfied with the products you receive, or they are defective in any way, we’ll refund or exchange those items. Original shipping charges and your return shipping costs are not refundable or exchangeable in any way shape or form.
Requests for exchanges & returns must be made within 7 days of the delivery of the product. Product must arrive to us within 10 days after your request for exchange or return to be processed and for you to receive credit or a refund.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your items upon receipt and make sure there are no damages due to transportation. If you receive a voice machine please leave a message. Your call will be returned in the order it was received. Damages reported after 36 hours of receipts do not qualify for returns.
We pull and pack your order with care and accuracy. Sometimes we do make errors, even though every order is checked twice. Please notify us immediately and we will send any missing items right away. Please be specific about what is missing. Please include the full product name, inventory number and quantity, as well as the items packing number on the packing slip. This will help us tremendously in supplying you items quickly.
NOTE: We send very small parts such as clasps or findings in a small bag that also contains our business card. Please look for this small bag in your shipment if you are missing one or more small items.
No matter the reason for your Exchange or Return these Policies apply:
All exchanges & returns should be insured against loss and must be well packaged, in original condition, original product packaging, thus in a completely unaltered state. You will be responsible for all postage costs. Examples include: no cut strands or partial strands. All pearls and gemstone beads must be returned on the original un cut strand they came on. All bags or packages must be in unopened condition. The package must be the same weight as the original package, no picking out the beads you like and returning the rest. Please no “cherry picking” items: When you order multiple quantities of the same stock number and would like to exchange or return, you must exchange or return all of those items. It is not fair to anyone if someone orders 15 pieces of an item, picks the six “best” and returns the rest. We will issue a 30% restocking fee for any “cherry picked” items, for return or exchange. We do our best to ensure everything within the same stock number is of equal quality.
Please take the same care in shipping product back to us the way we shipped them to you. Items that are improperly packaged and damaged in transit will not be refunded or exchanged. For example: don’t mail in a non-padded, plain paper envelope. No items that have been used will be accepted for refunds or exchanges.
No returns on close outs, cut wire, chain, or cord products. Please select your items, colors, sizes and lengths carefully! If you are not sure about a product, buy a minimum length to test it.
Refunds will be paid via the same method as you used to pay for your order. For example, if you paid via PayPal, you will get your refund via PayPal.
Items to be exchanged for other items must be returned to us before new items can be sent out, or before refunds can be made. Shipping fees are not refundable.
Discounted items can be exchanged or returned. Any discount that was applied to your transaction will be applied to your return or exchanged items. For example, if you paid $30.00 for an item, but received a 10% discount, you will be credited $27.00, the real cost of the item to you, after the discount. No exchanges or returns can be made on close out items.
Restocking Fee
We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee for customer’s who repeatedly take advantage of our liberal return policy. This fee covers the finance charges we incur when your order is initially placed and then again when a cancellation is submitted to your credit card company, or PayPal. Each return we process costs us credit card fees and in the case of larger orders with many items we spend a great deal of time fulfilling orders and then returning items to stock. Examples of this include but are not limited to:
Place larger orders to receive free shipping and then return lighter items for credit.
Return items where we have spent time matching gemstones qualities in pairs or related items.
Place bulk orders for items then return them all after further inspecting. We ask that you place an order for a single unit of an item first to see if the product will meet your needs rather than ordering in bulk upfront and them returning everything.
Any shipment that is entirely returned no matter how big or small.
International Customers
We will not refund taxes, custom duties, delivery fees, VAT, etc, that you paid in your country on items that you eventually return. We suggest that you request a store credit so that a future order will be accessed at a lower value.

We can not and will not return or exchange any items without the following:
Your Return Authorization Request Code attached or written on the top of a copy of the original invoice.
The merchandise to be returned or exchanged.
What you would like in return. Replacement, different item(s), store credit, or refund. We understand that sometimes you may order or receive item(s) that are not as you expected. Informing us what you did not like about an item not only helps us help you but it helps us learn what products might need a new picture, a better description and sometimes gives us ideas about new products to add to the web site.
Image Accuracy
Nothing beats the real thing!! We can ensure you that we do everything we can to take the best pictures and edit them to make them as close to the actual product you will receive. However there is unfortunately not 100% accurate and reliable picture that can show the actual quality of merchandise without certain degree of distortion in color and size. We are therefore technically not able to guarantee the accuracy of picture quality presented in this web site.
Descriptions
Item descriptions are best to our knowledge to be written down as accurate as possible. There may be typos regarding sizes and number of beads per strand, please notify us by emailing us at HYPERLINK "mailto:avalonbeads@yahoo.com" avalonbeads@yahoo.com.
Due to the nature of stones, actual items may vary from the item description in sizes and colors and weights. However, we try our best to stay close to our descriptions. All product descriptions are subject to change without notice.
Availabillty
Many of our beads are imported from overseas so availability and delivery dated are not guaranteed. With thousands of items in inventory, it is very difficult to keep track on all of our beads. Therefore, there may be times that an item ordered is not in stock. In that matter, a refund will be issued and a notification email will also be sent in this regard. |
